ANZAP Morning Workshop presented by A/Prof Loyola McLean

This workshop will share an introduction to knowledge from a coder and trainer in the Adult Attachment Interview and experience in trauma-informed psychiatry, bodymind medicine and psychotherapy with extensive clinical, teaching and research experience.

Elisabeth is a clinical and counselling psychologist who has focused her whole career on how people live and work well in relationships and communities. She is the CEO of Relationships Australia (NSW) and in private practice.
She has been the chair of ethics for the Australian Psychological Society, PACFA, and been a tribunal member (Psychology) with NCAT. She has taught at ACU, UNSW and Newcastle universities in areas of clinical practice, management and professional ethics, as well at providing training in leadership and supervision for a range of NFP and health organisations. She is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, a senior consultant at The Ethics Centre, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and sits on a number of NFP Boards. Her publications include a co-authored book entitled “Ethical Maturity in the Helping Professions”, as well as book chapters and journal articles on ethical decision making in couple and family therapy, supervision and counselling psychology.



ANZAP Community

The Conversational Model is an evidence-based approach for experienced practitioners working with complex trauma and personality disorders.

TRAINING IN THE CONVERSATIONAL MODEL of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

ANZAP training was developed by the same faculty, has the same content and is at the same level as the M Psychological Medicine and M Science, University of Sydney. Read more
